Music Center the Netherlands (MCN) was formed in 2008 by merging Donemus, Gaudeamus, De Kamervraag, the Dutch Pop & Rock Institute, Dutch Jazz Connection, Netherlands Jazz Archive and De Jazzorganisatie.

All musical genres
As a result of this merger one national organization has come into existence. This organization has dedicated itself to all musical genres: from rock, dance, jazz, classical and contemporary to world music. MCN focuses on everybody who is working in the world of professional music.

In short, our core responsibilities are:
Promotion in the Netherlands and abroad, providing information, documentation and tuning/coordination.
