Biography

Maruja is a Dutch-Caribbean born professional recording artist, whose expansive musical career has brought her to the Americas and Europe. Her career highlights include the global release of her album ‘Azuca’ under the umbrella of Universal Music and Red Bullet, multiple performances for the Queen of the Netherlands, a collaboration with DJ Tiësto, performing at the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, and a performance with the renowned Metropole Orchestra.

Following her successful return to the music industry after a hiatus, with her Christmas single ‘Little Drummer Boy’, Maruja now brings her most intimately personal song to audiences worldwide.
