M2Music is an independent record label based in Hackney, East London. The company looks to nurture young and like-minded musicians, providing them with a platform to showcase new and exciting music. Started by its in-house producer DymonRed in 2010. The label has firmly established itself within the British and London music scenes, along with its signature performing artists Kelz TBK and Suzy.

Young entrepreneur Michael Soremi founded M2Music Entertainment Ltd in 2010. Michael is a mixing engineer and producer with an inexhaustible passion for music. His vision was a label run and managed by musicians, for musicians, which benefits from using flexible and innovative new media to promote and present their music: “We are constantly finding new and creative ways for our acts to interact with their fans, both online and offline.”

M2Music’s recent successes include with recording artist Kelz TBK, whose singles have gained radio play: “Breathe” (Amazing Radio) and “Kingdom Come” (DemonFM), also having special features on SB.TV, the UK’s leading online youth broadcaster. Collaborators with the label and its acts include: Long-time associate and singer-songwriter Vince Kidd (who is currently signed to Island Records, after famously being mentored by Jessie J on BBC One’s The Voice UK), acclaimed live acoustic performer Lucy Spraggan (of X-Factor and YouTube fame) and Paigey Cakey (the rapper and big-screen actress, who starred in 2011’s Attack the Block).

Live performances by the label’s artists include Kelz with Vince Kidd at the Shooting Stars Benefit Launch 2012 at the Corinthia Hotel London (guests of which included Samuel L. Jackson) and supporting Lana Del Rey at Scala in King’s Cross. Other notable performances include: A guest performance at BCM Planet Dance in Majorca, Spain (previous guest performers include Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and David Guetta), Sound Control (Manchester), Under the Bridge (London), 02 Academy Birmingham, 02 ABC2 Glasgow, YOYO at Notting Hill Arts Club and GOLD DUST vs. This Is Music at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen (previous guest performers include Jessie J, Rox and Ellie Goulding)

M2’s resident rapper-come-singer-songwriter Kelz TBK has been flexing his musical muscles with his follow-up EP, The Black Kupid 2, which is soon to be released. The delightful Suzy has just released her first single, “2Night”, which is available as a free download via her Official Website www.suzyofficial.com where you should expect to catch more singles, before she releases her first EP, entitled 5.5 The Highlights, which is due to be released in the Summer of 2013.
