Biography
Julieta Rada is the daughter of the most representative singer in Uruguay, Rubén Rada. Shestarted singing at the age of 16 with the Ibarburu brothers and Urbano Moraes. Since then, she has been invited to sing with Fito Paez and Hugo Fattoruso, among others.
In 2012 she releases her first album ¨Afrozen¨, produced byNicolás Ibarburu and Nico Cota. This album has mostly songs written and composed by the Juliera Rada - Nicolás Ibarburu duo. Guest performers included Dante Spinetta (from IKV), Hugo Fattoruso, Martín Buscaglia, and her siblings Lucila and Matías Rada. This album garnered three nominations in the Graffiti Awards in 2013 and won ¨Best Female Solo Artist¨.
Corazón Diamante, her new album, is also produced by Nicolás Ibarburu. This album brings us a mixture of her passion for R&B, Soul and Funk with the influence from the Candombe music from Uruguay and percussion rythms from the Río de la Plata. Guest performers include her father Rubén Rada and sister Lucila Rada, Martín Buscaglia, Hugo Fattoruso,Francisco Fattoruso, Urbano Moraes, Martín Buscaglia, Hernán Peyrou, Juan Pablo Di Leone, Rey Tambor: Noé Núñez, Fernando Núñez and Diego Paredes.
