Originally from Acerra, Kina began his music career in 2018 by releasing several singles, eventually signing a record deal with Columbia Records following the significant success of the tracks Can We Kiss Forever? and Get You the Moon.
The latter, featuring vocalist Snøw and taken from his debut EP Things I Wanted to Tell You, was certified triple platinum in the United States and Mexico, with over 3,000,000 and 180,000 units sold respectively, double platinum in Canada and New Zealand, and platinum in Australia, France, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Spain.
Additionally, it achieved gold certification in Denmark, Germany, and Italy.
Get You the Moon made Kina the first solo Italian artist ever to surpass one billion streams on Spotify, a milestone reached in April 2024.
