Biography
North London-born singer-songwriter, producer & rapper Wauve grew up around the beautiful pentatonic music of his native country, Eritrea. Experiencing East African culture through community gatherings and weddings, his ability to give his unique interpretation of the more current sounds of popularised music today is exactly why he is set to be one of the pioneers in this new era of music. Having already gained the nod of approval from R&B legends Ne-Yo and Stargate with the single "Fee Fi Fo" which samples their classic smash hit "So Sick", and collaborating with afrobeats megastar Stonebwoy in his more recent single "Pamela" after having found a deeper connection to his African roots, the rising star's talent has been enough to gain notoriety from major players in all corners of the globe and still has yet to scratch the surfaces of his capabilities. This young burgeoning talent is set to give us a new light and breezy sound that takes Afrobeats-Trapsoul fusion into new territories, along with tracks that are sure to create huge waves on the radio and club scene with more familiar sounding hits on his forthcoming project
