Infidels Records artists UniversalDice is a most unique band; just beneath the surface of their accessible, melodic and beautifully played and arranged modern/classic rock sound lay an ambitious and rich lyrical content that challenges rock music orthodoxy. There are few bands can take you to another place musically while they force you to re-think what was once taken for granted. This is cliche free music. The songs, written and produced by Gerry Dantone, are always relevant and usually intensely emotional and often unique in the rock music arena. At the same time their memorable melodies recall the qualities admired in the the Beatles, Green Day, Pink Floyd and the Killers even though their songs never sound like any of these classic band's tunes in particular. These are original tunes with original ideas.
