Rui Andrade

Rui Andrade, was born on January 1st 1985 in the little town Amarante in the north of Portugal. Rui is an Actor, singer, model and show presenter.

He started singing at the age of 8, he entered several contests and he sang and performed on stages all over the country.

He has worked with several stage directors, choreographers and actors from the Portuguese artistic panorama.

In 2010, he appears on tv for the first time and through the youth tv series “Morangos com açúcar VII” he became each day better known to the public.

Since then he shares his life among musicals, publicity adverts, theatre plays and great musical shows. He played some leading roles at the successful musicals of Felipe La Feria. He stepped on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 as a backvocal of the Russian entry performed by Tomalchevy Sisters, apart from excellent appearances at the Portugese National Selections for Eurovision in both 2011, 2012 and 2014 which a constant third place and being a public favourite.

Rui also appeared successfully at the international recommended tv-show "Your face sounds familiar" on which with the portugese version he reconfirmed his professional approach and experience.
