Marie Nordman writes new music around the clock, all free hours, in her head, on guitar, on the piano, in the car. She is something as unusual as a low-key and private young artist that surprises everyone who hears her the first time she writes her own modern pop music and sings as a world name.

Born and raised in Jämtland quite far from major scenes and artist companies, Marie found a calling in music in her early teens. Her own voice and her own tone of voice began to emerge, and together with her brother, who was interested in music production, the songs began to come in large numbers.

When Marie started posting her songs on social media, first the audience and then the label Ninetone opened her eyes and soon she was signed with a real record contract.

Marie's sound is a mix of American list music and Swedish minor melodies from Ytterån, which is carried by her soft, intimate voice.
