Language of Clouds is the Norwegian-Mexican duo of Linn Kathrin Taklo on vocals and ukulele & Enrique Castro on electric marimba. The duo was foundedin November 2014 and is based in Bergen, Norway.
The music bears the signature of a particular instrumentation with a mix of cultures; electric marimba from Mexico and voice and ukulele from
Norway. The band name is strongly inspired by the famous grey weather of the city of Bergen and the different moods city dwellers experience.
Language of Clouds creates atmospheric artistic music placed in between the «world music» and «alternative pop»-genre.
In spring 2016 the duo recorded their first album «Dawn» at Broen Studio, release due in September 2016. Their goal is to spread their music both live and digital to all corners of the world.
