From Dangdong China to UK's Britain Joe L. Stanford Jr is quickly becoming a worldwide sensation he's gaining fans in several countries overseas due to his unique approach of delivering a universal message about God. Though not your traditional performer His music offers the feeling of a down home soul stirring gospel, tastefully infused with modern day story telling. Joe L Stanford Jr's appeal is understandable because of his ability to express his experiences in a way that relates to a wide variety of people. He is an author, songwriter, and producer, a playwright of a successful off-broadway musical called Chaos In Heavenly Places, and entrepreneur. In 1999 he started a company called R&G Publishing Inc. As a teen in high school Joe L wrote whole scores for plays such as Rise Of A Black Man and Gazelles. He also was an actor on The Emmy award winning Show The Awakening. By the time he attended college he had pretty much had all the hands on experience he could need. So immediately he was recognized by The Great James Mack who was the humanities and Music Art Director at the time. James Mack took him under his wing and made him Music Club President in that year the music club threw all kinds of talent shows and concerts and the 4th floor was the place to be with over 50 club members and hanger outers there everyday. From College, time went on. Joe L went back to his father's church and became the music director and in 2 years time turned a group of non singers into a recording Ensemble in which he named The A.F.C Praise Ensemble In 2001 They released their Debut Cd solely written by Joe L entitled Glory&Honor that same year they were featured on the Bobby Jones christmas special which aired on Bet. However the stigmas of the preacher's kid started to ring true there was a battle between God & The Devil for Joe L. Having experienced the wiles of the street but stemming from Church there were some hard lessons to be learned and so Joe L was taught. A almost 3 year court battle where he was facing 31 years to life was his latest lesson of God's Mercy and Grace on his life, and from there was his complete understanding.
