Globally renowned for writing some of the biggest hits of the last decade, Venezuelan musical mastermind Emy Perez has cemented her position as one of the industry’s driving forces. Her indomitable work ethic has propelled her to the forefront of the music scene, touring with music royalty Shakira, Eros Ramazotti and Earth, Wind & Fire, and boasting a brimming back catalogue of A-list collaborations. Emy’s passion for music was ignited from the young age of seven, participating in competitions in her home country, and going on to win the nationals. Performing with a variety of different bands across Venezuela, she was scouted by an A&R from the US, which led her to relocate and immerse herself in the world of production. Working with a long list of critically acclaimed creators, Emy Perez worked alongside the likes of Shane Stoner, Ricardo Martinez, Steve Morrison (multi-platinum award winner and Grammy award winner), Steve Morales (Enrique Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Celine Dion etc.), Albert Harvey (Avicii) and Phil Grejs (Jason Derulo, J Balvin etc.) Releasing an array of successful tracks as a featuring artist with The Boy Next Door and De Hofnar, Moksi, Eric Chase, Möwe and many more, Emy Perez’s name is synonymous with vivacious creations across a wide range of genres.

Embarking on her solo career in 2021, Emy’s first record in March, ‘Over You’ was placed in the Top 20 New Music Friday NL and her debut Spanish EP ‘Dime’ was released on Armada Music. ‘Zoom Zoom’ with DFRNS marks a career milestone, and inaugurates the next chapter of her career.
