DoReDoS

DoReDoS – is a Moldovan folk-pop trio formed in 2011. Originally, the band was called „Art Band”, but before participating in the national selection of Eurovision 2015 ( O melodie pentru Europa) they decided to change the band`s name to „DoReDoS”. Their name is taken from the first two notes of the musical scale. The trio is made up of Marina Djundyet, Eugeniu Andrianov and Sergiu Mîța. All three come from a small city, which is located on the left bank of the Dniester River - Rybnitsa. There they met and decided together to form a musical band. Later, they came to conquer the capital, where they graduated from the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts named after G. Muzicescu and continued their concert activities.
In 2013, Eugeniu Andrianov won the second prize at the Slavianski Bazar Song Festival in Vitebsk, Belarus.
In 2014, DoReDoS won the George Grigoriu Pop Music Contest in Romania. The following year DoReDoS released the song “Son (russian version)/ Vis plecat (romanian version)” (The Dream) by Marina Djundyet and Sergiu Mîța.
In 2016, the team became a finalist at the Romanian version of the X FACTOR.
In 2017, DoReDoS won the contest „New Wave” in Sochi, Russia. The participation of DoReDoS in the contest was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Igor Dodon, who supported them throughout the competition. For the prodigious activity, the result achieved at the „New Wave 2017” contest, and also for the substantial contribution to the promotion of the favorable image of Moldova abroad, the group was awarded on September 20, 2017 with distinctions by the country`s president, the „Honored Artist of Moldova”. Also in Sochi, DoReDoS caught the attention of Russian singer/songwriter Philipp Kirkorov.
They had twice previously attempted to represent Moldova at Eurovision in 2015 and 2016. On 24 February 2018, DoReDoS won the final of „O melodie pentru Europa 2018” with the maximum 12 points from the both the jury and SMS-voting, and was selected to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song „My Lucky Day”, composed by Philipp Kirkorov and John Ballard. Moldova will perform on May 10, at the 2nd semifinal in Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
The Moldavian trio spends every day with a rhythm in their hearts, with a melody in their souls and with music in their life in general. They continue to learn singing, and improve their dancing skills. They began to first earn money by performing at wedding celebrations. All three of the artists are passionate individuals, „In order to succeed, one needs a goal and a strategic plan. And, of course, a staunch belief in dream, perseverance and hard work”.
