Biography
SVETLANAS have been reviewed as "The Most Dangerous Band in the World", thanks to their intense live performances at international festivals.
While maintaining a 100% DIY attitude, the band has won approval and support from "pioneers" of rock music like Gene Simmons who proclaimed "Their music will be listened to by 40 millions of Americans". Jello Biafra has said "Olga has quite an unusual voice, like an angry cornered mongoose".
In 2015 after a 7" record split and an European tour with The Dwarves, legendary bass player Nick Oliveri (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss) joined the line-up.
After a full month's residency at The Whisky a Go Go in LA, SVETLANAS put out their new album "This is Moscow Not LA" recorded at Josh Homme's Pink Duck Studios released by legendary punk label Posh Boy Records.
