Suzanna Lubrano is a Cape Verdean artist based in the Netherlands. She is one of the most popular female artists in Lusophone Africa. In a career spanning almost 30 years, she has scored massive hits in countries such as Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde, and has also managed to achieve frequent success elsewhere. She has received numerous music awards and nominations.
At the start of the 21st century, Suzanna introduced Zouk Love in the Afro-Portuguese market, a slower-paced and more sensual type of Zouk. Her ‘Tudo Pa Bo’ album (2002) was a major influence for many pop artists in Lusophone Africa and beyond. The influence of Suzanna’s Zouk Love from the early 2000's can still be heard in some of today’s Zouk, Kizomba and AfroPop songs.
After a sabbatical, Suzanna is back with brand new songs, including Zouk Love songs ‘Tudo Pa Mi’ and 'Casal Perfeito', the AfroBeat ‘Africa Arise’ and the gospel 'Our Father/Pai Nosso.'
In 2026 she released the powerful and emotional 'Grito di nha alma'. More new songs will follow soon.
