🌈 Hansen Chew Chai Min – Composer of Grace 🌈

Since 1988, composer Hansen Chew Chai Min has been shaping melodies to color the world with hope, love, and purpose. Guided by a dream to make the world a beautiful place through music, Hansen’s journey reflects the healing power of sound and the strength of the human spirit.

In 2003, while serving as a frontline healthcare worker during the deadly SARS crisis, Hansen witnessed firsthand the fragility and sanctity of life. That humbling experience deepened his faith and solidified his resolve to pursue his musical calling. The following year, he founded Grace Music Creation—a sacred space where music becomes a bridge of love and grace to the world.

His first instrumental album debuted in October 2004, and in response to the devastating Asia Tsunami later that year, Hansen used his music to support World Vision Singapore. He followed up with a second instrumental album in 2005, again dedicating it to relief efforts. In 2006, tracks from both albums were compiled into a double-CD titled "Love Always Finds A Way". Seven of these instrumental pieces were selected for airplay at Singapore’s Changi Airport, enveloping global travelers in soothing melodies for nearly two years.

In 2007, Warner Music Singapore recognized the evocative power of Hansen’s compositions, releasing a new compilation album titled "Grace". His signature sound—anchored by the guitar and inspired by the Creator and the wonders of nature—has continued to inspire listeners across continents.

A passionate songwriter and storyteller, Hansen’s Christian compositions have garnered multiple finalist accolades at the UK Songwriting Contest. In 2018, his love song “Just The Way You Are” was honored as one of the seven grand finalists in the Commonwealth Song Contest, representing Singapore with a universal message of love and acceptance.

For Hansen, music is more than art—it’s a universal language echoing the beauty of life and the divine. At the heart of his creative spirit lies the greatest love story of all: the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ. His music is a reflection of that eternal grace, a prayer for humanity to embrace love, cherish life, and walk in light.
