T-Spoon

Who does not recall the worldwide hiphop hit California Love by 2 Pac & Dr Dre, his talkbox sound is unique. Back in the 90s T-Spoon founder & producer Remy de Groot visited his long time friend, producer and Grammy award winner Rene van Verseveld in Hollywood. Together they came up with the idea to record some songs with the late Roger Troutman. They gave him a phonecall while Roger was in Las Vegas. The next day the legend himself was recording some bouncing shizzles wiv them in the Future Sound Studios, Los Angeles.

One of these songs was the Billboard number one hit I Want To Be Your Man, released as Zapp & Roger. In january 2017 we met this talented young guy who had the X-Factor… Eyekonik is his name. Too keep a short story long…, together with Eyekonik they remixed I Want To Be Your Man, and even made a reggeaton version of this 80’s classic. Just to be shure all the single ladies bounce on the dancefloor.

Roger Troutman worked with stars like; Snoop Dogg, Blackstreet, 2Pac, Dr Dre and many more! T-Spoon ft. Eyekonik & Roger has been mastered by the king of mastering himself, the Grammy award winning Brian “Big Bass” Gardner. Big Bass Brian worked with legends such as Michael Jackson – The Beatles – Black Eyed Peas – Gwen Stefani – Eminem, just to name a few.
