Les Callard is a Dublin based songwriter, musician, and composer.
His first commercial release, "Merry Christmas and Goodbye" (c) 2013 featuring vocals and piano by Max Greenwood, has been warmly received and is fast becoming a noteworthy new holiday release in the UK and Ireland for Christmas 2013.
Whilst primarily a songwriter, Les has a strong portfolio of professionally produced and highly polished songs. His active genres include Pop Ballads, Pop Uptempo, R&B, Adult Contemporary, and some Classical composition.
Les's songwriting takes inspiration from a wide range of influences and styles, often adding a modern style to rich harmonies inspired by the great songs of the 70s and early 80s. Always with a strong melodic feel, and plenty of hook, Les's songs are essentially an eclectic mix spanning many genres.

Les is actively seeking a music publisher to extend the reach of his songwriting, and wants to primarily write songs for recording by major artists.
"Merry Christmas and Goodbye" was recorded in Dublin's Cornernote Studios, by industry veteran producer Larry Hogan, and was performed by the talented Irish artist Max Greenwood. It is a soulful and reflective nod of the cap to friends and family from Christmas past... to those we've left behind. It joins the ranks of melancholy but essentially uplifting and emotional Christmas music which compliments the feel of the season. The single was released in November 2013 by Lunar Records.
